All
Manufacture, Supply and Customer Service is controlled by an effective
quality assurance system, in line with the recommendations of BS EN
ISO
9001 2000. Our control system is supervised by a fellow of the Institute
of Quality Assurance (IQA). Our system is continually evolving through
a process of review and appraisal, and serves the fundamental purpose of
total quality management whilst minimising overt bureaucratic
encumbrances. Our quality system has been vetted and approved by blue
chip companies such as Transco, Gleeson, Costain, BNFL. Such approval
involved onsite scrutiny of our systems by their quality personnel. Our
environmental policy seeks to minimise environmental impact and maximise
health and safety. It follows the basic tenets of BS EN ISO 14001 with
a strong emphasis on recycling.
We pride ourselves in our Health and Safety policy
and personnel induction. Our aim is zero lost time accidents. To this
end we have had none of the following: notifiable major injuries;
fatalities; HSE improvement notices; HSE prohibition notices;
convictions for offences under health and Safety legislation. Our risk
assessments and COSHH are under continual review and are periodically
assessed by independent Health and Safety Consultants.
Our quality; health and safety and
environmental management systems have been audited to UVDB Category B2.
